Christmas Gifts that Keep Giving: The Literacy Site Store

Today’s post is about The Literacy Site Store, which is owned by the Greater Good Network. The Literacy Site Store supports and promotes literacy for children. Reading is a fundamental part of literacy, whether it is an adult reading a book to a child, or children learning to read by themselves. Reading is the foundation to writing, so without a solid foundation in this area, children’s educational future, and ultimately their employment prospects, are greatly diminished.

A simple way to promote literacy for children is to visit The Literacy Site for ‘free clicks’ to donate free books and by buying Christmas gifts from The Literacy Site Store. Each item you buy will fund at least one new book for a child!

I personally really love the jewellery with inspirational messages on it and have purchased many items for myself, or as gifts. You can go to their Shop Green section for organic and recycled products.

They also have a lovely section for Christmas decorations- have a little look!

Blessings!

P.S. remember The Big Give Christmas Challenge 6th-8th December!

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.” {Ecclesiastes 9:10}
