Third Sector: Linking volunteers to charities that need their skills

For those interested in volunteering, I have stumbled across a very useful new website that links charities with people who want to volunteer.
ThirdSectorVolunteering is a free service, launched by Third Sector. It is a free service for charities, which can list their volunteering vacancies, and for would-be volunteers, who can search for opportunities by skills, cause area and location.
More than 200 volunteering vacancies have already been posted on the site, which is being publicised among readers of other brands in Haymarket Business Media, including Management Today, PR Week, Marketing and People Management.
Serena McMahon, associate publisher of Third Sector, said the site had been well received by heads of volunteering in many charities. "ThirdSectorVolunteering is committed to supporting the growing demand for skilled volunteers through Haymarket's wide reach across many industry sectors," she said.
"From marketing and PR through to event planning and healthcare, we feel we are in a strong position to match skilled volunteers to exciting opportunities."
So if you feel that you have a skill set that you would like to volunteer to a charity, please search for a charity here.

Blessings!
