Syria: Children of War

Living in Syria, Ruth just draws what she sees. Bloodshed. Fighting. Persecution. At 13 years old, she’s seen things no child should see. But as part of a trauma counselling programme led by Open Doors, her drawing is helping her to find hope in Jesus. Please give today to protect persecuted children like Ruth, who suffer more because of their faith.
Become a Secret Child Sponsor
You can become a Secret Child Sponsor for £18 a month and help give a persecuted child protection, provision and a Christian education. Not just for today but for tomorrow and the years to come.
For their safety, you won’t know the child your support is reaching or even where they live. But you will receive a welcome pack, regular updates and a fridge magnet to help you pray for persecuted children around the world.
Give a gift of hope to a persecuted child
Give today and your donation will help another child like Ruth who faces violence or discrimination because of their faith.

You can also support organisations like Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the world’s largest humanitarian and development network, with millions of volunteers in 187 member National Societies. They continue  ‘saving lives and changing minds’ by focusing their work in three key areas: 1) disaster response and recovery, 2) development and 3) promoting social inclusion and peace. - See more at: http://www.ifrc.org/en/what-we-do/#sthash.n24LyncU.dpuf
