New Years Resolutions: Love Your Liver Campaign

I hope everyone has had a productive first day of 2013!

I was thinking today about New Year’s resolutions. Naturally, today is the day where many people are making (and often already breaking) resolutions of how they are going to change/improve themselves and their lives. I have certainly made some resolutions for my life and am optimistic thus far!

Another thing that many people will be dealing with today is a hangover (grateful not to be one of those!). So today’s post is about the Love Your Liver Campaign.

The Love Your Liver Campaign is a national awareness initiative by a national charity, the British Liver Trust. We each have responsibility for our own health, so follow the 3 easy tips that they and watch the videos for more information.

Just staying off alcohol for two to three days at a time, avoiding fatty foods and taking regular exercise are great ways to Love Your Liver. You can follow them on Twitter and Facebook for liver facts, tips and myth busters and to support the LYL campaign.
The British Liver Trust is a UK charity for adults with liver conditions. The charity provides information, support and advice to help people. Donate to the British Liver Trust to support their work.

Take care of yourself in 2013!
Blessings!
