Today’s post is about an event that is happening tomorrow.
BBC Children in
Need are proud to launch a brand new fundraising initative for 2012: BearFaced.
When: Friday 9 November
How: Go 'BearFaced' for the day
Why: To raise money for BBC Children in Need
Show your natural beauty: Children in need are asking women
across the UK to show their natural beauty and wear no make-up for BearFaced
Day – 9th November 2012. It's such an easy way to raise money for
BBC Children in Need.
They have a whole host of people already involved – why not get on board
and show your support too?
You can simply go BearFaced and ask
friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. But, as you’ll see here, just
like Tuuli Shipster, you can also show you’re part of the tribe by putting your
own take on Pudsey’s pawprint on your face – a "beauty
spot"-like paw in eyeliner, a Pudsey pawprint tattoo, diamante spots
– anything you like!
Pudsey Pawprint Tattoos: From the 5th November,
you can buy exclusive Pudsey pawprint temporary tattoos from your local Post
Office or from the Post Office
online store. A Pawprint will cost you just 50p, and the
Post Office are generously donating all proceeds from the sale of this product
less VAT (42p) to BBC Children in Need.
Get sponsored: If you decide to go BearFaced on 9th
November, the most important thing is to make sure you get sponsored by as many
of your friends, family and workmates as possible!
Children in Need have created some special event pages for you to collect
sponsorship online. Set up your own online sponsorship form at BT’s MyDonate, where every penny of your
sponsorship will come to BBC Children in Need, or you will be able to find a
BearFaced event page on the following sites:
Or if you'd prefer to use a paper
sponsorship form, you can download one here.
Blessings!
