Be a Sponsor {Mandela Day} 17 / 67 ways to change the world

As promised on Mandela Day 2013 (19.07.13), this is the my series on their 67 suggested ways of changing the world. This is the last one that comes under the category of 'Think of others':

17. Sponsor a group of learners to go to the theatre/zoo.

Many schools, church groups or charities that work with children and young people for example, are unable to take them on stimulating trips due to a lack of funding. Why not ask such an organisation whether you can help by sponsoring something like a trip for their school.
