Key2Free (A21 Campaign): National Anti-slavery day!

Yesterday, I posted about The A21 Campaign and the amazing work that they are doing to stop human trafficking and abolish modern day slavery! (Read the post here:

Today is the Key2Free National Anti-Slavery Day (as campaigned for by A21), so today’s post is about an event run by the A21 Campaign to increase awareness of and funding for this cause. This is what the A21 Campaign have to say about their Key2Free event today.

October 18th is anti-slavery day, and many voices across the globe will join together for one cause: abolishing human trafficking in our lifetime. KEY2FREE is our commitment to join this fight by combining awareness, justice, and action into one symbol of freedom: the Key.
Together, we can use our keys to unlock the voices, stories, and dreams of the 27 million people held captive.
Watch the KEY2FREE video here!

Here are some ideas of what you can do to support this cause:

1. Wear the Key: On October 18, wear a key to symbolize freedom.
(Necklaces and t-shirts available here: - not exclusive to today!

2. Share the Key: Spread the world about KEY2FREE by sharing the KEY2FREE video (, posting key photos on the KEY2FREE Facebook wall, and tweeting with the hashtag #KEY2FREE. You can download banners and posters here:

3. Raise the Key: Use your creativity and gather your friends for a KEY2FREE event. You can download an event pack here: - I will be getting involved with different projects to raise awareness and money in the coming months

4.Be the Key: Join the fight and make a difference in your world through becoming an
A21 abolitionist. More info here:

Together, we can use our keys to unlock the voices, stories, and dreams of the 27 million people held captive.

I encourage you all to get involved with this project! I am very passionate about this in particular, and will be dedicating a lot of time to raising awareness of this and giving suggestions of how to get involved.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” {Isaiah 61v1}
